In this one-time class, students will be given the beginning of a story to use as a prompt to continue writing their own creative short story, which they can share with the group at the end of class. This class is a great way for students to try out a class without an ongoing commitment. If your student enjoys the class and would like to participate weekly, I also offer "Creative Writing: Finish The Story Prompts (Ongoing / Weekly)" where they can be enrolled on an ongoing basis. Students will improve their creative writing skills, oral reading and speaking, and expand their imaginations as they create their very own short stories.
I hold a degree in Elementary Education and have been teaching weekly writing classes on Outschool since July 2020.
Students should come to class with: - Something to write on (notebook, paper, Word or Google Docs document) - Something to write with (if writing on physical paper) - A creative mind
