It's snack time and today's snack is a healthy one! Join me in this one-time class where we will make cookie dough hummus. This is a great sweet snack for anyone in the family. In this class, students will work on reading and following step by step directions in a recipe. Students will learn to measure and combine ingredients to make the cookie dough hummus. There is no baking involved in this recipe, so no need to preheat the oven. Just measure, blend, and mix to make this tasty...

The following ingredients are needed: -2 cans of chickpeas -rolled oats -unsalted cashews -maple syrup -vanilla extract -almond milk or coconut milk beverage -mini chocolate chips The following kitchen utensils are needed: -can opener -food processor/blender -spoon/rubber spatula -measuring cups and spoons (1 cup, 3/4 cup, 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup, 1 tsp. and 1 Tbsp.) -large bowl
