八年級數學跳板第三單元幾何

This class is part of a series of classes meant to provide opportunities for students to review and practice math concepts taught through Springboard Math Course 3, Grade 8, Unit 3. This class does not use problems from the textbook, and does not teach the concepts using the same methodologies as the textbook. Learners are able to bring problems from their textbook for help and clarification, but they must already have the materials as materials and/or access to the Springboard Math Course 2 curriculum will not be provided in this class. Instead, this class follows the same sequence of concepts as the textbook in order to supplement learning. Below is a list of concepts that we will be covering during this course.

Days 1 and 2: Transversals of Parallel Lines, and Finding Missing Angles in Triangles and Quadrilaterals
Days 3 and 4: Translations and Reflections
Days 5 and 6: Rotations and Sequence of Transformations
Days 7 and 8: Similar Triangles and Dilations
Days 9 and 10: Pythagorean Theorem
Days 11 and 12: Surface Area and Volume
