Welcome to "Everything You Need to Know for Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 Cram Course"! You may be here because you're ready for pre-algebra, or you may have already completed Pre-algebra or Algebra 1 and need a review. 

Pre-algebra and Algebra are a student's first dive into high school mathematics, and it's often a daunting one! At this level, we meet variables, quadratic functions, linear equations, and so much more! All of these skills will continue to be used in further math classes, so students really need to develop a firm foundation in early algebra for continued success throughout high school and college.

This course is based off of the book "Everything You Need to Ace Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 In One Big Fat Notebook", which is used as a textbook in this class. This course covers the major topics of Pre-algebra and Algebra 1 in a concise, straight-forward format. While my lessons follow the book's lessons, my videos will provide your learner more insight into the topics taught, as well as extra examples and practice material to help solidify the skills to create a full curriculum.

Each week we will cover 2-5 lessons. Each lesson will consist of a video with slide presentation, providing examples and practice problems in addition to what is provided in the course textbook. I will also provide explanations to the solutions of the book's practice problems as well as additional worksheets and other opportunities for additional practice. 

 This class is ideal for students who have completed Pre-algebra or Algebra 1 and need a review or for math-minded students who are confident entering pre-algebra or Algebra 1 and comfortable with a fast-paced math course.
