Week 1Lesson 1Course Overview & Georgia O'Keefe - Flower in PastelStudents will be introduced to the course and guidelines. Students will learn about the artist Georgia O'Keefe and an overview of her work. Then students will receive step by step guided direction to complete their own flower - in O'Keefe's style.Week 2Lesson 2Claude Monet - Waterlilies - water color and acrylicStudents will learn about the artist Claude Monet and an overview of his work. Then students will receive step by step guided direction to complete a painting of waterlilies - in Monet's style, using watercolor and acrylic.Week 3Lesson 3Vincent Van Gogh - Sunflowers Part One - acrylicsStudents will learn about the artist Vincent Van Gogh and an overview of his work. Then students will receive step by step guided direction to begin a painting of sunflowers - in Van Gogh's style, using acrylic.Week 4Lesson 4Vincent Van Gogh - Sunflowers Part Two - acrylicsStudents will complete their Sunflower painting using acrylics in Van Gogh's style. If time allows we will look at other pieces of his work and discuss how they could be completed.Week 5Lesson 5Henri Matisse - Beast of the Sea - cut paper collageStudents will learn about the artist Henri Matisse and an overview of his work. Then students will receive step by step guided direction to complete a cut paper collage - in Monet's style. Students will earn a completion certificate and we will discuss how they could exhibit their art for their community.

등록 시 1개의 파일을 볼 수 있어요.Several sheets of heavy watercolor quality paper 9 x 12, a good set of watercolors (at least crayola quality), 5 quality brushes suitable for watercolor and acrylic paints, (2 flat (size 2or 4 & 6 or 8) and rounded 6, 8, 10) a set of acrylic paints ( Basic colors; blue, red, yellow, white, black, a pad of construction paper (or scraps) for collage, scissors, glue or glue stick, soft pastels (not oil firm should be blendable) , a black crayola crayon. A palette - ( love a paper plate or washable plastic plate [eco-friendly] - no need to buy a "palette") to mix paints on. A workmat to protect table - (I use a doggie pee pad {LOL}), a glass of water for cleaning brushes, paper towels. A good attitude. Please note: Markers are not suitable for these projects.
