Standard 3:How the values and institutions of European economic life took root in the colonies, and how slavery reshaped European and African life in the America
Certified Social Studies teacher for grade 5-8
Primary sources are used whenever possible
Consider marginalized voices in my lesson through careful listening and reading of resources such as Teaching Tolerance etc.
For our lesson Ben Franklin, we will play around with his discoveries. If your child would like to have a hands-on experience please provide:
Wrapped drinking straws
Aluminum foil 
Disposable plastic plates 
Tape or glue sticks 
Scissors
