Welcome to the world of 3D Digital Art: Design and Modeling with TinkerCAD! This enrichment class is designed to introduce kids in grades 4-10 to the exciting world of 3D design and architecture. In this program, you will learn how to dream, design, and create your own unique 3D objects, buildings, and even basic characters.

Over the next 5 weeks, you will learn the basics of 3D design and architecture with a focus on designing real-world objects. You will be using Tinker CAD software, which is a user-friendly 3D design tool that is perfect for beginners. You will engineer cool three-dimensional city scapes, devices, or gadgets.

This class is designed with a student-centered learning approach  We believe that the best way to learn is by doing, and that's why we emphasize hands-on, experiential learning. You will have the chance to work on individual , which will help you develop your design skills.

Throughout the course, you will learn how to construct detailed 3D images, understand sophisticated software tools like Tinker CAD, and gain an understanding of the principles of creating dynamic and interesting 3D images. You will also learn the concepts of scope, scale, and functionality in design, which will help you create designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical and functional.

Each self-paced session enrichment class will consist of videos and hands-on learning. There is no prior experience or knowledge required for this course, and all skill levels are welcome.
