Welcome to the LEGO Engineering Explorers: Summer Camp, where creativity meets engineering and imagination becomes reality! In this dynamic program, budding builders embark on an exciting journey of discovery, innovation, and hands-on learning. Our course is designed to unleash the full potential of your child's imagination while providing a solid foundation in STEM principles through the captivating world of LEGO construction. Throughout this 2 week adventure, students will dive deep into the realm of engineering, mastering essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. Each session is carefully crafted to engage young minds in interactive activities and challenges that not only inspire creativity but also foster a deeper understanding of engineering concepts. Our student-centered approach encourages active participation and teamwork, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to contribute their unique ideas and talents to the group projects. From brainstorming innovative solutions to tackling complex builds, students will gain valuable insights into the engineering process while honing their communication and collaboration skills. Course Structure: Our Master Builders Workshop is structured as 2 Hours and 55 minute class meetings held 5 days in a row. Each session is packed with engaging activities and hands-on projects that reinforce the week's theme and learning objectives. Here's a glimpse of what your child will experience each week: Day 1 and 2: Introduction to Engineering Principles, Explore basic engineering concepts, brainstorming and building your LEGO Bridge Day 3 and 4: Building Foundations: Dive into complex builds and designs Use your skills you are learning about to add to your LEGO project Day 5 and 6 : Team Collaboration: Enhance communication and teamwork skills Share your ideas for your next projects with your peers and start building Day 7, 8 and 9: Innovation and Creativity: Embrace self-expression through LEGO construction, Explore innovative design solutions, Cultivate creativity through hands-on experimentation Day 10: Continue Exploring Physics Concepts:Apply physics concepts to LEGO builds Investigate the science behind catapults, Showcase individual projects, Celebrate achievements and creativity Teaching Style: As the instructor, I facilitate a supportive and interactive learning environment where students are encouraged to explore, experiment, and collaborate. Our teaching style is highly engaging, incorporating a mix of hands-on activities, group discussions, and interactive demonstrations. Learners will have ample opportunities to interact with me and their peers through collaborative projects, games, and discussions. No prior experience or knowledge is required to enroll in this course. Our program is designed to accommodate learners of all levels, from beginners to experienced LEGO enthusiasts. All that's needed is a passion for creativity and a desire to explore the exciting world of LEGO engineering!
