When faced with unsolicited and potentially highly emotional expressions around sensitive topics, my approach prioritizes empathy, sensitivity, and respect. I begin by actively listening to the user, attentively tuning in to their words, tone, and emotions, reassuring them that I am here to offer support. Responding with empathy, I acknowledge their feelings and validate their experiences, ensuring they feel heard and understood. When it comes time to teach topics that may be sensitive I will make sure to not focus on the topic for too long. I promise to teach multiple perspectives.
受講に必要なもの
Worksheet will be provided weekly. They are to be used during our lesson. Optional homework will be provided.

Hello there! 👋 I'm ACE Educator and STAR Educator Ms. Courtney, and I'm absolutely thrilled to be here with you! I have been happily married for 16 years. As a homeschooling mom of three wonderful kids, I've got a full house that includes two furry feline 🐈‍⬛ 🐈‍⬛ friends and our energetic pup 🐕 . Living in the United States 🇺🇸, teaching is not just a passion for my own children but for other awesome learners like you too!

If you don’t see a time that fits with your schedule, please let me know and I’d be happy to open up another time for your learner if it works out.

Crafting engaging and meaningful lessons is important to me, and I'm here to make learning an adventure. When I'm not teaching, you'll find me exploring new places 🧳, whipping up delicious treats in the kitchen 🧁, or tending to my flourishing garden 💐.

I hold a degree👩‍🎓 in Early Childhood Education and have been immersed in the world of children since I was 18. My journey started as a volunteer at a daycare center and later as a dedicated paraprofessional 👩‍🏫 for four years, working closely with preschoolers, kindergarteners, and first graders. I've had the privilege of teaching in both public and private school settings. I have been teaching learners online for almost 1 year! I am loving every bit of it.

I'm all about encouraging participation, but I understand that not everyone loves to share—and that's totally okay!

Clear and prompt communication is my promise, and if you have any question, don't hesitate to drop me a message .

Can't wait to have you in class soon! 😄
