We will label the bones and muscles, learn the function of the skin, why we sweat, what happens to our food after it enters our mouth, and so much more. As a past massage therapist, I have always loved learning about the systems of the body and not only how it works but also why it works the way it does. I will be using slides, short videos, and worksheets to teach these topics. I will ask questions to check for understanding. It is not necessary for learners to have any previous knowledge of anatomy to take this class. My goal for this class is to create a welcoming environment that is fun and engaging for each learner. After watching the class videos be sure to check out the extra supplementary videos and Nearpod game links. Hope to see you in class soon!
