The Phantom Tollbooth is a fantasy novel about a young boy named Milo who was always unsettled and unable to find purpose in life. One day, a mysterious tollbooth appears and transports him to a life of magic, adventure, and wonder.

This class is an intensive literature study. It is very in depth. This study is for any student with the desire to expand their knowledge of this book and literature in general. Each week learners will join us once per week. In the literature portion of this class learners will go over the following..

In the writing portion of this class students will write about the following..

Choices and consequences
Friendship
Perseverance
Reviewing literature

All writing assignments will be in the form of essays and reports.  Students will be asked if they would like to share with the class.  They do not have to if they don't desire to.  We will offer teacher and student feedback.  Students will work heavily with teacher as well as their peers while creating their writings.  All of our writing and English studies will be heavily discussion based.  Students may have to finish their writing out of class if they do not finish it in class.

Week 1- Chapters 1-3
Week 2- Chapters 4-6
Week 3- Chapters 7-9
Week 4- Chapters 10-12
Week 5- Chapters 13-15
Week 6- Chapters 16-18
Week 7-Chapters 19-20
