Beginner - Intermediate Level
We will cover basic writing skills beginning with complete sentences and culminating in solid paragraphs. A print-out of the provided Paragraph Planner will be required each week. An additional Note Taking Tool is required on days we are writing an informational paragraph. I will let you know when we need to take notes in the classroom announcements. We will kick off with a discussion of the weekly topic. We will brainstorm how we might write about that topic. Then writers will begin plying their trade. Writers may share at the end of class.
