Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
Beginner - Advanced Level
Each week learners we will discuss a different genre and format for fiction. We may write a narrative, poetry, or even a script for a play. At the end of our time, learners may choose to share with the group. Assistance will be given as needed. If a one-on-one session would help your child further explore their writing talents, these can be made available. This class runs year-round.

Class structure
At the beginning of each session, we will discuss a different creative writing format (narrative, poetry, script) and genre. However, writers are free to choose the format and genre they use. After a short lesson, learners will be shown either a photo or other illustration. This visual will be the jumping-off point for their work for the day.
