🧠 In this one-time, one-on-one session, your learner will complete an informal, educational assessment to help better understand their current reading skills. This session is designed for children ages 5–15 who may be experiencing reading challenges and would benefit from insight into areas like phonemic awareness, decoding, and early literacy development. This assessment includes interactive, age-appropriate tasks focused on sound awareness, letter-sound correspondence, and word reading. I gather observational data about your learner’s reading profile in a relaxed, supportive environment. 🌟 Within three business days, families will receive a written report that includes: ✅ A detailed report of observations including any signs of dyslexia ✅ A personalized learning plan ✅ Class and tutoring recommendations based on the learner’s strengths and challenges The assessment includes critical areas such as: Phonological awareness Rapid naming Working memory Phonological Manipulation Blending Segmenting Fluency Vocabulary Phonics Comprehension Spelling At the end of the meeting, if time allows, I’ll briefly speak with parents or guardians. ⚠️ Please note: This assessment is for educational purposes only and does not provide a clinical or medical diagnosis of dyslexia or any other learning challenge. It is designed to inform families, guide interventions, and support educational planning. 🔍 How the Results Can Help The assessment helps families: 💡 Receive targeted guidance on intervention strategies and class placement 💡 Advocate effectively for their child in academic settings 💡 This can be an empowering first step for parents seeking clarity about their child’s reading and language development. - dyslexia testing - science of reading - signs of dyslexia
