Use code: PaolaR20 Intro to Spanish (20 Classes) Lesson structure : Although it is not a live class, the lesson will be available on Mondays, with assignments due on Sundays. I will make sure there is asynchronous engagement with learners. 1) PRE-RECORDED LESSON: the lesson of the week will be available on Monday. It will be posting a recording in the Outschool presenting the vocabulary in Spanish, making sure to do the paused pronunciation for the students to repeat while watching the recording. I will also present options for questions and answers using the week's vocabulary. Three types of questions: yes and no, choice, and short answer. 2) ASSIGNMENTS AND DEADLINES: The assignments will be three: -A link to practice the vocabulary from the lesson. -Post a video reciting the vocabulary from the lesson. -A written assignment using the vocabulary in context and post and video reading that assignment. The due date will be the Sunday before the following week's lesson. 3) ADDITIONAL TEACHING MATERIAL: Additional didactic material will be provided in the classroom for extra practice. Can introduce him/herself and others and ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows, and things he/she has. Can interact simply, provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help. Note: Some students may be able to purchase this class using scholarship funds through the Step Up portal. Feel free to explore this option if it applies to you!
