Beginner Level
Ready to bring your drawings to life with bold colors and smooth blends? In this fun and interactive class, young artists will learn how to draw cool and creative subjects and master coloring with alcohol markers! Whether you love sketching characters, animals, fantasy creatures, or cool designs, this class is designed to spark creativity and help kids gain confidence with their drawing and coloring skills. Using alcohol markers, students will explore how to: • Create clean, confident line art • Blend colors smoothly for eye-catching effects • Shade and highlight to add depth and realism • Choose colors to make their drawings pop Each week, we will explore exciting new themes that appeal to both boys and girls — from action-packed scenes and animals to magical creatures and fun objects. Step-by-step demonstrations make it easy to follow along, and everyone will have time to show off their artwork and get encouraging feedback. Perfect for beginners and budding artists alike, this class is all about having fun, experimenting with colors, dipping a toe into color theory and improving drawing and coloring techniques in a supportive, upbeat environment.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their skills in creating masterful color combinations and using some basic color theory while also understanding how alcohol markers are different from water-based.Other Details
Supply List
• Ability to Print worksheets/guides • Alcohol Markers (any brand; Ohuhu is very good and economical) • Ultra Fine Point Black Sharpie Markers or COPIC Fineliners • White Sakura Gelly Roll Pen (size 8 or 10) • White Card Stock • I also suggest one black colored pencil (I like Prismacolor brand but any brand is ok)
