Tarea
1 hora por semana. Students will code and read words in the Reading Adventure Camp Student Workbook. We will go over the homework in the pre-recorded videos so the students can check themselves for accuracy.

A Certificate of Completion will be provided to the student, upon request.

Welcome to "Reading Rangers:   Adventures in English" a self-paced class designed to build and strengthen essential decoding skills and phonological awareness for early readers. This course is perfect for young learners who are beginning their reading journey or need extra practice to enhance their reading abilities. With engaging activities and interactive exercises, students will develop the crucial skills needed to become confident and proficient readers.

**What You’ll Learn:**
- **Decoding Skills:** Develop the ability to break down and sound out words using phonics. Practice blending sounds to read new words and improve reading fluency.
- **Phonological Awareness:** Strengthen your understanding of the sound structure of language, including skills like rhyming, segmenting, and manipulating sounds in words.
- **Word Recognition:** Build a foundation of sight words and high-frequency words to improve reading speed and comprehension.
- **Sound and Letter Association:** Learn the relationships between letters and sounds to enhance spelling and decoding abilities.

Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
Gina graduated with a Masters of Education in Dyslexia Therapy from Mississippi College. In her  Masters program, she provided dyslexia therapy using the Alphabetic Phonics curriculum to students for over 1,000 clinical hours. She is a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist (LDT) with the state of Texas and a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) with Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA). 

Gina is a Dyslexia Practitioner, certified by the International Dyslexia Association. She is a  Structured Language/Dyslexia Interventionist with Center for Effective Reading Instruction.  Formerly, she was a Spalding Certified Teacher, certified by Spalding Education International. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in the College of Education from the University of Texas at Austin.
