Welcome to Interactive Sight Words Class! Each class will begin by reviewing the letters and sounds of the alphabet. It is important that young readers become fluent at "reading" the letter names and sounds. If student take class more than once and are fluent with letters we will start with sight words. Students will be introduced to common beginning sight words. The students will learn sight words through a variety of fun and engaging ways.  For example, we will use magnetic letters, whiteboards, computer slides, games, flashcards, "air writing", pencil/marker writing, and many more techniques to help your young reader get a good grasp on sight words! At the end each session, your child and I will compose very simple sentences using the sight words that we have learned that day.  If taken more than once we will review previously learned sight words from the lessons.  "Reading", "repetition" and "writing",  are essential for learning sight words.

***** important notice--- this class will run approximately 25 to 30 minutes. It'll give us time to wrap up and for everyone to be able to have time in case they have back to back classes.
