#academic In this exciting, ongoing class, children will have a chance to absorb phonemes, engage in multi-sensory sight words, and explore their love of cats using the Orton-Gillingham method. This time-tested, research-backed approach is highly effective for learners with dyslexia and yields great results in reading, writing, and spelling. - Students will improve their fluency of non-phonetic sight words from Fry's First 100 Sight Words, as well as implement the usage of the suggested phonemes from the research-backed, highly effective Orton Gillingham Method.
I have training in Orton-Gillingham for dyslexia. This was a masters level training.
Please choose one multi-sensory tool for your learner to trace his/her fingers over during the session for phonemes and sight words:
-plastic needlepoint canvas (99 cents)

-soft fabric
-sandpaper
-carpet
