Campamento de arte: dibuja y pinta cuatro pájaros divertidos

This is an "Art Camp" class which meets four days in a row.  Each day students will create a different beautiful bird picture.  I will lead students through a step by step demonstration of how to make each bird using basic drawing and painting techniques.  Throughout the process students are encouraged to add their own creative touches to their artworks.  As students work, I always make sure to provide feedback, encouragement, and additional instructions as needed.  If time allows our young artists will have the opportunity to share their artwork with their classmates.

**Although each demonstration will be finished by the end of class, students may need or wish to continue working on their masterpiece after we have signed off for the day.  Everyone works at a different speed, and it's better to take our time than to rush!  

Day 1: Parrot
Day 2: Flamingo
Day 3: Cockatoo
Day 4: Peacock

Supplies Needed Each Day:
- 9x12 Thicker white paper suitable for painting (80lb weight or higher; I like Canson (100510941) XL Series Watercolor Pad, 9" x 12", Fold-Over Cover, 30 Sheets)
- Pencil with eraser
- Black permanent Sharpie marker (must be a permanent marker) or black crayon
- Crayons or oil pastels
- Watercolor set (Prang or Crayola recommended)
- Watercolor brush
- Container with water (a container with a wider base or a bowl is less likely to spill)
- Paper towels

**You may also want a piece of poster board or large paper to cover the work area.
