Writing a good college entrance essay as part of the common app can be challenging, but this class will make that easier. We will cover the step by step basics to writing a good college entrance essay, starting with strategy and understanding audience and purpose. We'll briefly look at each step of the writing process, so students can apply their prior skills to this new challenge. We'll also look at what to do for application essays for colleges that don't accept the Common App. If you're just starting the college application process or aren't familiar with the Common App, then the Common App class may also be useful.
