US Grade 8 - 11
A good guiding question helps tremendously as we research, but another difficulty is that the experts don't always use the same terms we do. In this class, we'll look at how to generate and add to a list of key words. More keywords supercharges our research, especially with scholarly databases. They're wonderful resources, but not as good at guessing what we want. A good key word list makes trying different combos of search terms easy and quick. You'll get the most out of practice if you have a topic you'd like to know more about and an attempt at a guiding question, but it's OK if you don't.
