Students will practice deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills to explain what happened in a puzzling situation like, "There's a man hiding in the sunlight."

Class experience

Students will practice critical thinking skills, including careful reasoning with both deduction and induction. They will also practice being precise, questioning assumptions, and developing a line of inquiry.
I've taught English for many years, and this is one of our (students and my) favorite ways to practice critical thinking with word puzzles. I have an MA in English, and there are more details in the profile.
