- Learners will need something to paint with and something to paint on. The paint brush should have a tapered tip. - If you want to use authentic Japanese calligraphy supplies, you will need a "Fude" paint brush and "Sumi" ink and "Washi" paper. However, you do not need to have authentic supplies to make beautiful art.
