*Please check supply list in the class. Student need some tools for this class and I have provided some cheap options with links. Some you should already have at home* In this class, we will be using a variety of tools to create Calligraphy and study various hand and arm movements, how to hold tools, the pressure of the tool, and much more. The goal is to show techniques to students so they can make their art their own. We will have a fun activity at the end of each class and use the skills we learned in that class. At the end of the week, students should have a better grasp on written art and calligraphy styles. This class is very hands-on and will be a fun art class for your students. I also do this class along with the students so they can see my work in real time and skills I share with them. You can print these and practice on them before the next class. Class 3 - We will practice difficult phrases and learning how to fully copy something we see and make it our own. - We will have some final practice to make sure our skills are good. - Students will create their final artwork on canvas or poster. I have been a certified teacher in English for 9 years but I have been involved in art since I was young. I have always been the artistic one of my family and friends and have made many art pieces for people over the years. I have mastered my Calligraphy skills and I am excited to share those with the students. This will be a super fun class.
