In this one-time class, students will learn about ten of the most poisonous animals in the world. Students will learn what the difference between a creature being venomous verse poisonous are. What makes the bird Pitohui poisonous? Just how dangerous is a puffer fish? How does the diet of some animals’ effect if they are poisonous or not? Parental Guidance In this class will be talking about animals. We will cover topics like what they ate, how they hunted, killed, and other of behaviors. This could include images or short clips of animals attacking other animals with the goal to kill them, while I will not display any gruesome images/videos, the content could possibly be scary to some children. We will be talking about deadly animals including that people can die from their poison, and just how deadly they are. It will not be graphic or show anything gruesome, but if this subject is something that might upset your child, please be aware that this class might not be best suited for them.
