US Grade Kindergarten - 3
In this one-time class, students will learn about some of the largest meat-eating dinosaurs that ever walked our planet. They were both extraordinary but sometimes terrifying. How much larger was Spinosaurus than the Trex? How powerful was the Tyrannosaurus bite? Just how fast was Allosaurus? Find out these answers and so many more in this fun and engaging class. The class’s focus is on letting kids explore their curiosity and love of prehistoric animals, students will be encouraged to share their knowledge and ask questions to discover new revelations about these amazing creatures. I feel students learn best when having fun in a supportive environment that will encourage them to express their thoughts and opinions. The class will be done as a multimedia presentation which includes short clips and pictures to introduce students to these astonishing creatures. At the end, we will talk about what the students have learned and which prehistoric animals they liked the most. Students are welcome to bring their favorite dino toys, pictures, and fossils to share with the class. Snacks are welcome too. Parental Guidance This class is going over prehistoric predators, we will cover topics like what they ate, how they hunted, killed, and how large they got. This could include images or short clips of animals attacking other animals with the goal to kill them, while I will not display any gruesome images, the content could possibly be scary to some children.
Learning Goals
Students will learn fun facts about the Spinosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex), Allosaurus, and Baryonyx.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from University of Wyoming
Hello everyone!
My name is Ashley. My classes are fun, informative, and engaging, and I genuinely love helping students learn while having fun. My primary goal is to help students use their creativity and curiosity to discover what they truly want to learn about.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences (Honors) from the University of Wyoming with a focus on international studies. I have worked with children for almost 5 years as an SPEA for Higher Needs students at a local school district. Currently, I am an online ESL teacher and writer. My teaching style is to provide students with the opportunity to exchange ideas with their peers and take an active role in their learning. I love to encourage students to explore different topics through a variety of methods in a warm and encouraging environment. I encourage questions and speaking during my classes as I believe it is critical for students to do so.
Though I have a wide range of topics I teach, my genuine passion is writing! Writing has always brought me joy because it allows me to use my creativity to share stories with others. I believe that writing should be enjoyable, encouraging, and overall a positive experience. Though I have done writing in many fields, my favorite is writing fiction stories in the fantasy and science fiction genres.
