During this one-time lesson, we will spend time talking all about our digestive system! We will learn about the reason behind why we poop and how our food travels through our body to eventually be pooped out! We will learn about our esophagus, our stomach, and our small and large intestines. There will be visuals to help your learner! We will use our drawing skills to draw our own digestive system in class. Learners will be able to share their drawing in class and comment on the teachers as well! This class is going to be engaging and so much fun! I hope to see you there! Optional items: I will be showing how food is broken down to be digested. You are welcome to complete the experiment with me! -Clear soda -A few crackers -Ziploc bag with stomach drawn on it I will include printables that your learner can use to create their own digestive system. You are welcome to cut supplies out before class begins!
