Class Experience

Through guided illustrations and labelling, children will explore the anatomy of a different animal, plant, insect, or non-living entity from nature each week.

Our class begins with a discussion about the theme and the students' prior knowledge of the topic. Subsequently, the teacher will share interesting facts.

Moving forward, the class will be guided by the teacher in a drawing centered around the theme. We will conclude by labeling each segment of the drawing by hand, discussing its function and uniqueness.

Children will grasp that plants, animals, insects, and non-living entities in nature possess characteristics that enable them to survive and flourish in their environment.

This course aims to enrich students' vocabulary by introducing precise terms and essential details regarding each anatomical feature under study.

Our mission is to instill awe, pique curiosity, and foster a profound connection with the wonders of nature.

NATURE JOURNAL

Each week, students will receive a beautifully crafted nature journal workbook tailored to the theme. This journal encompasses sections on science, language arts, math, and creative arts. This journal is a free gift, designed for children to use at their leisure at home.

LEARNING THROUGH ART

Learning through art nurtures creativity, enhances cognitive development, and fosters emotional expression, allowing individuals to explore complex concepts and ideas in an engaging and tangible manner.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our class is minimalist in terms of technology. We exclusively utilize Zoom as a medium for students to interact with the teacher. There's no screen-sharing for presentations or videos, and we refrain from using pre-recorded content.

The structure of this class is standalone for each session, implying that topics don't build on previous weeks. Hence, new students can enroll at any point without feeling left out.

INCLUSIVITY

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive class, welcoming students of all abilities. Non-verbal students can freely use the chat for communication. If your child has specific needs requiring certain accommodations, please notify us. Our goal is to collaborate and ensure the best possible experience for every student.
