Through guided illustrations and labelling, children will explore the anatomy of a different animal, plant, insect, or non-living entity from nature each week. Our class begins with a discussion about the theme and the students' prior knowledge of the topic. Subsequently, the teacher will share interesting facts. Moving forward, the class will be guided by the teacher in a drawing centered around the theme. We will conclude by labeling each segment of the drawing by hand, discussing its function and uniqueness. Children will grasp that plants, animals, insects, and non-living entities in nature possess characteristics that enable them to survive and flourish in their environment. This course aims to enrich students' vocabulary by introducing precise terms and essential details regarding each anatomical feature under study. Our mission is to instill awe, pique curiosity, and foster a profound connection with the wonders of nature. NATURE JOURNAL Each week, students will receive a beautifully crafted nature journal workbook tailored to the theme. This journal encompasses sections on science, language arts, math, and creative arts. This journal is a free gift, designed for children to use at their leisure at home. LEARNING THROUGH ART Learning through art nurtures creativity, enhances cognitive development, and fosters emotional expression, allowing individuals to explore complex concepts and ideas in an engaging and tangible manner.
