US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this one time class, learners will learn the names of a variety of shapes (circle, square, diamond, triangle, rectangle). Learners will listen to the story "Walter's Wonderful Web" written by Tim Hopgood. After the story, we will review the shapes from the story and then play a sorting game that allows leaners to help their peers identify what shape the real life object is. To end class, learners will be able to share an item of their choice (found in their home) with their peers and identify what shape!
Learning Goals
Students will learn to identify and sort a variety of two-dimensional shapes.
