Do you ever feel like you were born to shine? I do too. If there's a karaoke night, hide the microphone because I'm coming for it! Love for performing is definitely a big hurdle to overcome since many of us (myself included) suffer from stage fright, but learning the technique for a proper performance can give you the confidence you need to truly show the world what you're about! In this beginner's course, you will learn the following elements of putting on a true vocal performance: -Stretches -Warm Ups -Positive Encouragement -Posture -Breathing Techniques -Projection -Acting I will be giving you a sample performance at the beginning of class, but this is not the kind of lesson where you just sit and watch. Be ready to stand up and practice all of these elements with me! We will be moving and shaking and breathing, belting, singing, and just having fun learning how to perform like a professional! Be sure to have a space where you can move freely. I can't wait to meet you!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Education from University of Central Florida
After graduating from high school with an arts endorsement in musical performance, I began my musical career teaching voice, flute, and recorder at Florida School of Music (which has since closed), while also performing in several latin and top 40 bands in the area. I have performed at Disney, Sea World, City Walk, House of Blues, and various other venues and events across the country. Most recently (August of 2020), I participated in the creation of the album "Children of the World" as a vocalist in the Global Citizen Ensemble along with children's musician and author Mister G and esteemed musicians from all around the world. I also recorded background vocals for "Jugando", one of Mister G's songs in his album "Ritmo y Rima" or "Rhythm and Rhyme". All of these albums can be found on Spotify and YouTube.
