In this 4-week flex class, students will have a lot of fun learning about this beautiful country, Ukraine, completing group activities researching and answering questions, completing quizzes and art activities. I have 5 years of experience teaching Geography and History to kids and adults! I have visited over 50 countries and I’m very passionate about sharing these experiences and knowledge with others. While visiting these countries I was fortunate enough to meet many local people that helped me get exposure and a better understanding of the local cultures and traditions. I have made so many friends from all over the world including Ukraine. I am excited to share my knowledge with you. Google Earth will be used for the virtual field trips. It will all be recorded in a video and posted in the classroom. Politics or tragic events will not be discussed in the classroom.
PowerPoint will be shared. No account is needed. Google Earth and PowerPoint will not be used by students but will be recorded in a video. External sources will not be used by students but will be recorded in a video, such as YouTube videos to demonstrate how to make pysanky eggs and interesting facts about Ukraine.
