In this one time class, learners will be introduced to Pennsylvania Dutch culture by designing and creating their own Hex sign.

Class experience

  • Learners will be able to explain and describe a Pennsylvania Dutch Hex sign. Learners will design and create a Hex sign that is based on symbols which have personal meaning to them or their family. Learners will be able to identify the unity and focal points of their design.
