In this fast paced class, students will learn basic vocal warm ups for acting and clear speech. We will learn proper breathing and breath control, correct pronuciation, how to control volume, pitch and rate of speech. We will practice with a variety of tongue twisters. I will teach the vocal exercises, then students will repeat them. We will read several sentences and experiment with how the meaning is changed by varying how words are pronounced. Students can interact with each other using very short dialogues.

Students will improve their diction, breath control, and prounciation.
Students will learn how the meanings of words can change depending on how they are said.
