Sport Psychology: Mental Skills Training for Athletes

This is a one-on-one class to teach athletes the mental skills professional and Olympic athletes use to help them improve performance and consistency.

Class experience

  • They will learn mental skills to help them improve their athletic performance. The first week they will learn mental imagery. The next week they will learn relaxation training. The third week they will learn self-talk. The fourth week they will learn pre-performance routines and how to use a performance journal.
I have a master's degree in sport psychology from Florida State University and a master's degree in school counseling from Loyola University. I worked with the track and field athletes at Florida State University as a performance consultant for 2 years and the track and field athletes at Loyola for a year.  
Homework Offered
15-20 minutes a day 3 or 4 days a week.
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
