In this hour-long, one-time class, students will learn basic greetings, introductions, polite expressions, pleasantries, and other basic conversational terms in Modern Israeli Hebrew. I also specialize in brain health in education, therefore, gentle, localized movement will be integrated into each class period, appropriate to age-appropriate ability to focus. I am a linguist, and Semitic languages, ancient and modern, are one of my areas of specialization. I first studied Modern Israeli Hebrew as an undergraduate student in 2003, and I have continued to read, research, and work in the language in since then.
A piece of blank paper and a pencil is recommended for illustrating expressions for practice and reinforcement at the end of the class period.
