Homework
1-2 hours per week. When you study Hebrew, it is advisable to practice a language even for five minutes a day or every other day, it will make learning so much easier. It is much simpler to repeat sentences even by a song or a video. To remember the letters you can paint and write on the sand in order to repeat what was learned, or simply play with what we learn.

Aleph, Bet, and Hebrew vowels. How to Read Hebrew? When we read English we read from left to right, Hebrew, however, goes from right to left.

Every Hebrew word has two “levels” – the letters on the main “level,” and the vowels, which mostly go below. So you would read a Hebrew word in a zig-zag pattern:
Reading Strategy: Syllables
Every word has at least one syllable in it.
Syllables are the “beats” of the word.
For example, the word “cat” has one syllable,
c a t p a | p e r
And “ladybug” has three:
l a | d y | b u g
match each one to

how it sounds in English?
1 ׁשָּ תָּ BAT A
2 בַ ת TASH B
3 תָּ ׁש TASHA C
4 בַ ׁשָּ SHATA D
5 תָּ ׁשָּ BASHA E
