Class Experience

In this one time course we will talk about sea animals ! Students are encouraged to bring a picture ( or toy) of their favorite sea animals ! This is a great class for student who love animals and enjoy expressing themselves through art. We will use sea animals to help review number recognition, counting, sorting, patterns and much more. Students will participate in class discussion as we complete a handout about sea animals. We will draw popular sea animals together and share our art work with the class.
Class will begin with a brief time of introductions and instructions for the class. It is a wonderful time for students to learn new vocabulary , practice questioning, discovery, team work and build self confidence.
Part 2 If time allows we will draw a shark, jelly fish and a sea turtle

I am so excited to meet your little artist and enjoy a fun filled adventure in learning!

Hello friends! My name is Judy Muncher and I live in Alabama, USA! I am a mother of 3 adult boys and a grandmother to a wonderful 2 year old. We love adventure, travel and all types of animals! I received my BS and MS Degree in Education. I taught science for 15 years in the public school setting. I continued my education receiving an additional MS in Library Science. I changed careers and became a Media Specialist in both the Elementary and High School setting! I am a lifelong educator of 30 years! I have developed a wonderful passion for educating children. My teaching philosophy is based on learning through play and discovery. Discovery allows children to improve cognitive development in memory, concentration, attention, perception, imagination and creativity. I have recently joined the virtual teaching community. I have taught English online for the last year. I LOVE virtual teaching!! Virtual teaching allows me to connect with all types of students in a variety of locations! My classes revolve around discussion and collaboration. Students enjoy talking about their ideas and sharing with others! My goal as a teacher is to help students develop a LOVE of learning.

I hope you will join me in my classroom for crafts, phonics, reading, science and of course, LOTS OF FUN :)
See you soon !
