Students will learn in a small group via zoom video chat with Cara. Instruction will be given step-by-step and students will be assisted along the way. No prior knowledge is required for this course. Student Materials Needed: *Paper or Sketchbook *Pencil, Sharpener, Eraser *Colored Pencils or Crayons *Black Sharpie (Fine and/or Ultra Fine) *Optional: markers, watercolor _____________________________________ **Class Policies: *All class times are approximate. Class length may vary due to student ability and class size. Classes are designed to be no longer than the time allotted. *Late/Missed Class Policy - All courses will begin on time as long as one learner is in the classroom. In the event that no students are in the classroom at the assigned class time, the teacher will leave a message on the discussion board and exit the classroom after 10 minutes. Class recordings are available upon request. ***Tardy Policy - Learners who have missed ten minutes or more of the class time should request a transfer. Instruction is given step-by-step, so tardiness detracts from everyone's learning experience. I am happy to work with you to try to meet your scheduling needs and want each learner to have an optimal experience!

Parental Guidance
There is a video that I show during this class for educational purposes and is from National Geographic. The link is below. It is very informative about sea turtles, but it does mention sea turtle ancestors and how their origins go back to the time of the dinosaurs. If this is a topic that you do not want to be presented to your learner, you may want to choose a different class.
