Role Models Academy
This fun and interactive session focuses on identifying what makes your child special and helps them feel good about their talents, whatever they might be.
This session is interactive; your child will join a group of other children (up to a maximum of 9) led by an experienced and energetic Role Model. Parents and carers are welcome to stay with their child for the session or allow them to participate independently. The session includes confidence building games, a story, a drawing activity and the children get to meet Marvellous Mo the Monkey! Within this session, your child will learn how to celebrate their ‘one-of-a-kind’ special strengths!...
Our Role Models (teachers) are energetic, engaging, and curious educators who are passionate about encouraging your children to become the best version of themselves. All of our Role Models are hand-picked and trained by our education team. You can read more about them here; https://www.rolemodels.me/about-us/meet-our-role-models/ In order to become a Role Model, they must have ample experience working with groups of children. They must also be adept at combining educational rigour with fun, to create active learning environments that children love. We have a number of qualified teachers and actors on our team. However, each Role Model brings something unique to the table. Meet Louise Treherne our Director of our Character Education Team: Louise develops new and exciting ways to help children explore our four key areas of collaboration, resilience, creativity and leadership, in order to be the best version of themselves. Louise has a degree in Psychology, 12 years experience as a teacher and 5 years as a Senior Deputy Head at a London Prep school. She now works as a Coach and Educational Consultant, which includes working in different educational settings, delivering training and staying up to date with all things Character Education related! Through her coaching, Louise works 1:1 with adults and children to help them move forward with specific goals, explore limiting beliefs and develop their direction and confidence.
