In this Christmas class we will have a delicious snack, read the classic tale of The Nutcracker, color and see a magical dance from the wonderful ballet.

Welcome to the magical land where nutcrackers come to life, sugar plum fairies dance, and the rat king tries his best to defeat brave soldiers! During class we will gather together to talk about our favourite parts of the holidays and share what we are most excited about. Students are welcome to bring a favourite treat to snack on while they hear a little history about The Nutcracker and watch the Bolshoi Ballet Sugar Plum Fairy Dance. Next, they are welcome to print out the fun class colouring page to do while we read the classic story The Nutcracker in an interactive way! I cannot wait to meet your learner! We are going to have an outstanding time. Warning: After this class you might just have dreams of sugar plum fairies dancing in your head! (I encourage students of all abilities to join. Your learner can participate as much or as little as they like.)

When students are interested in what they are doing, learning they will WANT to learn! I hope that your students will love to learn and become lifelong learners. I want all children to feel comfortable, engaged, encouraged and have fun in my classes I have worked with students from ages 0-14 for over 20 years. I have held several other jobs than teaching which I adored but at this point this is my passion.
My teaching experience comes from multiple sources. Online I have taught thousands of children overseas to learn English through VIPKid. VIPKid (now VIPTeacher) is known for their vigorous standards and training. I have also taught for an elite online program, called Synthesis. Synthesis is an elite program created by the one of the founders of Ad Astra. (Ad Astra is the school that Elon Musk created at SpaceX.) I have also taught thousands of children right here on Outschool since 2020.
Offline teaching experience comes from teaching at a Montessori pre-school, teaching swim and gym classes, summer camps and Sunday school. I also have taught students with a wide range of mental and physical abilities. All students are welcome in my classes and I am willing to make accommodations if requested.
My education consists of a BA in psychology, a BA in Conflict Resolution, TESL, TEOFL, over 40 online teaching certificates, mental health first aid certification, and palliative care certification.
I have two children who are everything to me. I homeschool them and we love going on adventures together. In my spare time I love travelling, baking, camping, Disney, swimming, the beach, water activities, working out, reading and all things full of sparkle and glitter! You can always find me taking a course or earning some kind of certificate.
