Welcome Swifties! Get ready to have an absolute blast and make amazing treats! In this class you will get to bake some of Taylor's favorite tried and true recipes that she shares with friends, family and fans. These recipes are super tasty and such a delight to make and eat! Not only will you get to bake but you will also get to talk about everything Taylor! Depending on how much time we have in class I will ask open ended questions, ask trivia questions, have would you rather segements and possibly hear a song or two. (If your learner does not want to talk or share that is always fine as well!) *Please see the syllubus for what we will be making. *Every week the ingredients will be posted for the class that we are on. Please remember to have your email notifications turned on! *I will not always be baking/making at the same at the same time as the children are. I prefer to give my full attention to instruction and detail. This comes in especially handy if multiple students are needing help at the same time. (Helping students with each step so they can be independent.) I will be guiding them step by step and helping each student move at the pace that they need. *Please make sure that your oven is on and heated to the temperature needed for the days baking. *Parental guidance is needed if using electric appliances and for all use of the oven. (Placing things in, taking things out, taking treats out of the pan if needed.) *Depending on how long the recipe is we may end 5 mins earlier or go 5 mins over than is scheduled. *Some students find it helpful to have things measured out before class to make the class run smoother for them and be less chaotic.

Parental Guidance
1. Please be aware that we will be using the stove top and oven during this class. You may assess if your learner needs help with these and assist them as needed.
2. Some students find it helpful to have things measured out before class to make the class run smoother for them.
3. Any Taylor Swift songs that will be played will be *clean* songs with no inappropriate words. Sometimes instrumentals will also be used.
Supply List
Each week a list of ingredients and what you will need will be posted in the classroom. However, please make sure that you have a working oven, bowls, measuring cups/spoons and a mixer or wooden spoon to mix as these will be used each week.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Welcome!
When students are interested in what they are doing, learning they will WANT to learn! I hope that your students will love to learn and become lifelong learners. I want all children to feel comfortable, engaged, encouraged and have fun in my classes I have worked with students from ages 0-14 for over 20 years. I have held several other jobs than teaching which I adored but at this point this is my passion.
My teaching experience comes from multiple sources. Online I have taught thousands of children overseas to learn English through VIPKid. VIPKid (now VIPTeacher) is known for their vigorous standards and training. I have also taught for an elite online program, called Synthesis. Synthesis is an elite program created by the one of the founders of Ad Astra. (Ad Astra is the school that Elon Musk created at SpaceX.) I have also taught thousands of children right here on Outschool since 2020.
Offline teaching experience comes from teaching at a Montessori pre-school, teaching swim and gym classes, summer camps and Sunday school. I also have taught students with a wide range of mental and physical abilities. All students are welcome in my classes and I am willing to make accommodations if requested.
My education consists of a BA in psychology, a BA in Conflict Resolution, TESL, TEOFL, over 40 online teaching certificates, mental health first aid certification, and palliative care certification.
I have two children who are everything to me. I homeschool them and we love going on adventures together. In my spare time I love travelling, baking, camping, Disney, swimming, the beach, water activities, working out, reading and all things full of sparkle and glitter! You can always find me taking a course or earning some kind of certificate.
