Welcome to the great white north! In this class we will be discovering some of the most popular animals that are found in Canada. The Beaver, Moose, Polar Bear, Monarch Butterfly, Orca, Walrus, Caribou, Puffin, Lynx, Beluga, Grizzly Bear, Black Bear and Goose are all animals that we will be learning about in class. During this class we will be studying why each animal is unique by an introduction of the animal, their habitat, nutrition, physiology, behaviour and communication, family structure plus their welfare and conservation. Students will be immersive learners and are welcome to chime in with their own knowledge, observations and questions. Each class students will be provided with a coloring page of each animal where they can also take notes if they wish. Lessons used are created and approved to be used in a Canadian classroom setting for ages 8-12.
