Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about the colors found in a rainbow and the science behind how they are created by performing an experiment and participating in an interactive discussion.
Ruler Scissors 2 small glasses/cups Water (enough to fill each of the cups ~3/4 full) Paper towels (NEEDS (for experiment to work) to be absorbent - I used Bounty brand) Colored markers (NEEDS (for experiment to work) to be "washable" - not all Crayola brand markers are washable, so please check!)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Parental supervision is advised when students measure and use scissors to cut a paper towel for the experiment. Parental guidance may be necessary for younger learners to gather and get materials ready for the experiment and provide assistance throughout the experiment.
