This is a book club which meets once a week, learners will be taught a new ELA skill each week as we rotate roles

This class is a book club which follows a literature circle format, learners will have a reading and homework assignment each week. This will be according to their assigned role, each role will be introduced and skills needed will be taught the week before to ensure learners are fully equipped. Roles will rotate over the 6 weeks to ensure learners have an opportunity to practice each role. Learners will have 5 minutes each to present each week in a format of their choice. This text by CS...

This class will focus on the literary elements of the novel only. This class will use Kahoot! for interactive online quizzes, Kahoot is an educational web tool accessed via link provided during class, no subscription or download is required.
