The Good, Bad, and the Ugly of Royals: Monarchs and Nobles History Class

Are you intrigued by the lives of Royals and Nobles? If so, this is the class for you!

For thousands of years, royals and noble families have ruled over the globe, led armies, conquered lands, and changed the course of history. Many lived intriguing lives filled with drama. Their lives were filled with murder, betrayal, love, and so much more! Some royals and nobles have been loved by their people, while others have been hated. 

No prior knowledge is necessary to participate in this class. Learners will have the opportunity to learn about royals and nobles who have been impactful on history in one way or another. One key question they should be able to answer after each class is why does this royal or noble stands out in history?

We will use PowerPoints, videos, pictures, etc. as necessary to help learners throughout the class. This course is largely discussion-based. 

Class One: Henry VIII (England)
Class Two: Elizabeth I (England)
Class Three: Victoria (England)
Class Four: Catherine the Great (Russia)
Class Five: Nicholas II (Russia)
Class Six: Ferdinand and Isabella (Spain)
Class Seven: Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette (France)
Class Eight: Napoleon (France)
