This is a Self-Paced or Subscription course for United States History from 1877 to Present. It covers U.S. History from before the time the end of Reconstruction through now. This is a regular-level course taught by a certified teacher with two degrees in history and over a decade of experience successfully guiding students through this course. Learners will understand the major events and themes of U.S. History from 1877 to the Present.
I have a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in History. I have 12 years of experience teaching history at the high school and college level. I am a certified high school teacher and a certified AP US History teacher and rate or grade AP US History essays at the national level. I am also a history professor at a local college. I have my own curriculum writing business, mostly creating U.S History resources for other teachers.
Homework Offered
Students will watch the weekly assigned videos and complete weekly assignments, including but not limited to class discussions.Assessments Offered

You're not required to purchase a textbook. However, if you would like one as a supplement to this course, I recommend America: A Narrative History Brief Edition 2022 by David Shi. United States History 1877 to Present. Addresses racism, discrimination, and prejudice, as well as social and the government's attempts to address these concerns. We will look at historical and primary sources from multiple perspectives when addressing these subjects.
Historical and primary documents will be provided in class as needed to supplement the learning experience.
