AP United States History APUSH Boot Camp

Are you taking AP US History (APUSH) this upcoming school year or are currently enrolled? This course will help you prepare to do better throughout the course and eventually on the AP Exam in May. 

APUSH is a fast-paced course covering an extensive overview of US History. This class will help you with how to be successful in the course. This is a boot camp I have used with my own APUSH students to start the year off right or to give them a helping hand later on. This class will help you to build the foundational skills necessary to not only survive APUSH but thrive in it as well! This course is not intended to teach you the content; instead, it teaches you what you need to be successful skill-wise in the course.

Class One: APUSH Course Introduction (How the course is set up, reading and not taking tips, planning, etc.)
Class Two: HIPPing, Historical Thinking Skills, 
Class Three: APUSH writing overview including the DBQ, LEQ, and SAQ
Class Four: APUSH writing overview continued
Class Five: Open forum for questions, Re-Focus on Content Students have provided feedback for more help with

At the end of each session, students will answer a discussion post with any questions about the day's activities if they were not covered before the session ends. This will help to drive the focus for the last session.
