Intermediate Level
Every week a new topic is covered in class. The teacher presents to children on the screen with picture prompts and sentences to help with writing and word mats to help with vocabulary. Week 1: How to make an Ice Cream Sundae Week 2 How to make a paper aeroplane Week 3: How to make a pizza Week 4: How to tie a pair of shoelaces Week 5: How to make a sandcastle Week 6: How to make a sandwich The teacher will ask ‘ Tell me how to make an Ice Cream Sundae? Does anyone know? Where do I start? What do I need? How do I go about making one? Why should I make it that way? What would you do? The teacher will provide an example to students so that they can mirror the work and demonstrate how they would make an Ice-cream Sundae and if they would add any more ingredients or take any away?
