What will be taught? In Student Success Check-In, you'll learn how to manage your schoolwork more effectively. We’ll focus on improving your time management, staying organized, identifying areas where you might be struggling, and creating actionable steps to keep you on track with your academic goals. What topics will you cover? Grade Review: We’ll review your grades and assignments in each check-in to ensure you're on track. Goal Setting: We’ll set realistic, achievable goals for the week and month ahead. Problem Solving: Together, we’ll tackle any challenging subjects or areas of concern. Time Management: We’ll explore how to manage your time better by planning your assignments, studying schedules, and due dates. Accountability: Through regular check-ins, you’ll learn how to take ownership of your academic progress. How is your class structured? This class meets twice a week for 30 minutes each session. In each session, we’ll: Review your progress from the last check-in. Go over your current assignments and grades. Identify any subjects or areas where you're struggling. Set goals and create an action plan for the upcoming days. Leave time for any questions or concerns you may have. How will you teach? I’ll teach through personalized one-on-one sessions, providing tailored feedback based on your specific needs. You’ll get guidance on your work, and we’ll create plans to keep you moving forward. Each session will include a mix of discussion, problem-solving, and setting goals, making it interactive and focused entirely on your success. What's your teaching style? I have a supportive, encouraging teaching style. I believe in motivating students and helping them feel confident in their abilities. My approach is all about collaboration—I work with you to understand your challenges and find solutions that fit your learning style. Every session is customized to your progress, and I’m here to guide you, not lecture. How much will learners get to interact with you? Each session is fully interactive. You’ll have one-on-one time with me twice a week to discuss your academic progress, challenges, and goals. You’ll be able to ask questions, share updates, and get real-time feedback during our live check-ins. We won’t just go over grades—this is your chance to work together on building skills that will help you succeed long-term.
